Unit 5 Projects
Wall hanging/ Useful piece

Plan-
First I made a base with a rectangle and added a skinny outline so things wouldn't fall out of it when put it. I then added the tall back so it could rest against the wall when hanging.

Overall-
In the end I don't hate the piece my only dislike is that I didn't have time to glaze it afterwards but I liked it and would do it again.

Plan: First I wanted to make the base so I took a long peice of clay and rolled/ rounded it out then cut it to the size I wanted. Afterwards I took my rolled out clay and cut out the wings and slipped and scored them on, but they wouldn't stay because I had made the base to small and it ended up breaking.

Overall it wasn't a bad piece I just had uneven portions of clay which ultimately led to it breaking apart. I would definitely do it again but next time a bit bigger.

I chose a butterfly because I kind of just float around places. I don't really have a place a stay at. I'm just around but never really there if that makes sense.
Bust
No picture.
I forgot to take pictures of the bust and it got scrapped by the time I remembered
Plan:
I first bot a big chunk of wedged clay and got it really wet so I could start to shape everything out. I first started with the shoulders and moved my way up to the head. After I got the rough draft of it I added the details of the eyes mouth and nose.(They were terrible) after that I took some noodles of clay to be the hair.

Overall I wasn't that upset with it because it may have been chippy and distorted it still looked like a bust. I would definitely try this again but be more gentle and TAKE A PICTURE
